NEW -- smaller sizes of many images are now available at reduced prices.

It gives me great pleasure to hear from folks who have my work on display in their home or office.  They invariably tell me of compliments they receive from visitors who comment on the images.  Some of these statements have been in writing and I have a book of them in my booth when I am at a show.

While every artist strives for perfection in his or her work, we all recognize that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder."  The affirmation received from those who are sharing in the enjoyment of my photographs is a strong reinforcement of my commitment to produce the highest quality I can achieve.

That desire for perfection is what drives the effort to capture a particular scene, even when it is not a "target of opportunity" that I am lucky enough to stumble upon in a moment of time.  The extreme example is my photograph "St. Marks Moonrise."  It took about three years of trial to capture that image.  The sunset and full moon occur simultaneously only one day a month.  The evening had to be cloud free and without wind driven waves.  I had to find a boat that could get into the shallow water, yet was stable enough for me to keep a camera steady.  I finally manufactured a set of concentric PVC pipes and mounted a tripod head on the top so I could take the necessary time exposure.  Please look at the result in the "Gallery" section.

Many of the other photographs took a similar level of planning, if not the same amount of time to execute.  With others, I was just fortunate to be in the right place at the right time to seize the opportunity and capture a striking image.

I hope you find one or more that you would like to add to your collection.
