There were observers on the sidewalks, but they were silent. The only sound during this eerie event came from the footsteps of the KKK marchers. This is a limited edition. The size is approximate.

The Cade's Cove area on the Tennessee side of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is visited by thousands of people every month. One of the first stops is the 1820's John Oliver cabin, restored to its original design. This image was made in the early morning fog, before the site became too crowded to photograph.
